Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd is seeking a CT Technologist I to join the Radiology team in Trion, GA. You will operate CT scanners, verify orders with Radiologists, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.

Responsibilities include IV contrast administration, image quality evaluation, and collaboration with physicians. ARRT/NMTCB CT registry within a year of hire is required, with comprehensive safety practices and patient care at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine; advanced ARRT CT registry within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests, verify orders, and refer questions to Radiologist.
• Identify patients and explain procedures; prepare patients and document worksheets.
• Review medical history from EMR and correlate tests with the exam.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and proper sterile technique; handle contrast administration.
