Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a CT technologist for the Mobile CT service at 36265 Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center in Rome, GA. This full-time position involves working a 40-hour week in a dynamic imaging department and delivering high-quality CT imaging with attention to safety and patient care.

You will operate CT equipment, administer contrast under Radiologist guidance, and ensure accurate image labeling and documentation within the radiology information system.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school in Radiologic Technology.
• No experience required.
• Wisconsin Radiographer license and ARRT CT registration within 18 months; BLS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment for basic/intermediate diagnostic procedures.
• Obtain patient history and verify orders for exam accuracy.
• Position patients and adjust scanning factors with radiation safety.
• Administer contrast under Radiologist direction.
• Post-process images and label files accurately.
• Enter patient/study data into the radiology system and code procedures.
• Identify equipment issues and perform quality assurance tests.
• Assist in patient positioning and lifting with proper technique.
• Provide age-appropriate care following department policies.
