Wellstar Medical Group’s New Mobile CT Unit in Augusta, GA seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures, ensure image quality, and deliver compassionate patient care. You will operate imaging equipment, manage workflows, and uphold ALARA standards in a fast-paced mobile setting.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRTR (Radiography) certification.
• ARRT CT – Computed Tomography certification.
• BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain ALARA dose.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms and equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders and patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep clearly using AIDET to reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol, using sterile technique.
• Position patients correctly and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as needed.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support department flow.
• Organize daily workflow to meet timeframes and support operations.
• Follow regulatory requirements and report issues to supervisor.
