Wellstar Medical Group's New Mobile CT Unit in Augusta, GA seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care. This role supports a collaborative care team on a mobile unit, performing CT procedures, adhering to ALARA, and maintaining patient safety.

The position requires a minimum of 1 year in Radiology, ARRT CT certification, and BLS, with competitive hourly pay and potential relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

Competenze

• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology
• ARRTR (Radiography) certification
• ARRT CT – ARRT Computed Tomography
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Mansioni

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment independently, maintaining ALARA principles.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms and equipment per infection control schedules.
• Verify orders and patient identifiers; obtain clinical history and screen contraindications.
• Explain procedures and post-care using AIDET; address patient questions and reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Document timely and accurately in RIS/PACS and manage transfers/retrievals as needed.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; assist with lifesupport equipment as required.
• Organize daily workflow to meet timeframes and support department flow.
