Job summary

Paycom - ATS seeks a Mobile Crisis Therapist II to provide rapid, community-based crisis assessment, intervention, and short-term stabilization across homes, schools, shelters, and other locations, with telehealth when appropriate.

The role emphasizes reducing ED visits, hospitalizations, and legal involvement through trauma-informed, person-centered care, collaborating with partners to ensure timely access to services.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a behavioral health field from an accredited program.
  • Active, unrestricted independent licensure in the state as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, Psychologist, or equivalent.
  • Ability to conduct clinical and risk assessments and crisis interventions independently.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver advanced mobile behavioral health crisis services including de-escalation and safety planning.
  • Conduct crisis and risk assessments in the community and determine appropriate levels of care.
  • Provide brief interventions and develop crisis or initial treatment plans as needed.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement, schools, hospitals, and community organizations to access resources.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all contacts and interventions in compliance with standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and provide clinical leadership during complex cases.
