Job summary

Tri-City Mental Health Authority is hiring a Clinical Therapist II for the Mobile Crisis Care Program (MCCP). This full-time role provides crisis intervention, stabilization, linkage and referral, and education within the scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional counseling/therapy experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Required licensure or eligibility for LCSW/LMFT/LPCC in California.

Responsibilities

• Respond to crisis calls with or without law enforcement in various programs.
• Perform field-based and telephone emergency mental health evaluations and crisis stabilization.
• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization to individuals, groups and families.
• Identify treatment needs and make appropriate referrals for services.
• Assist clients and relatives in understanding behavioral health problems and reactions.
• Work on a multidisciplinary team for crisis response.
