Job summary

Washington County Mental Health Services (WCMHS) seeks a Mobile Crisis Response Clinician to join a two-person mobile unit, providing compassionate, real-time crisis assessment and de-escalation for adults with mental health, substance use, or developmental disability crises. You will assess risk, coordinate follow-up, and deliver tailored interventions in diverse community settings.

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or graduate level work in mental health or social work.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to multi-task in changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Respond to mobile crisis calls from adults in crisis.
• Work with a peer support specialist to deliver crisis services.
• Assess crisis level, needs, and supports; determine interventions.
• Teach coping skills and develop contingency plans.
