Job summary

Centerstone is seeking a Mobile Crisis Specialist to provide face-to-face, phone, and telehealth crisis response. You will assess safety risks, implement de-escalation strategies, create safety plans, and coordinate with community resources to promote stabilization and recovery.

The role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and requires strong documentation, professionalism in high-pressure situations, and a willingness to engage with diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred; four years of experience may substitute for the degree.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive to community assessments.

Responsibilities

• Respond to behavioral health crises in the community, by phone or telehealth.
• Conduct rapid assessments focusing on safety and immediate support needs.
• Develop safety plans and coordinate with resources and referrals.
• Coordinate with first responders and healthcare partners as needed.
• Document assessments and interventions accurately within timelines.
• Provide follow-up outreach to support stabilization and engagement.
