Choices is seeking a Mobile Crisis Peer Responder for a full-time role serving Henry, Morgan, Johnson and Shelby counties in Indiana. The position acts as a role model, providing peer support and consumer advocacy across outpatient and inpatient settings.

The role collaborates with the Crisis Team and leadership to stabilize individuals and aid recovery. The Peer Responder works from a strengths-based perspective, participates in shifts on a fire house model, and ensures data collection and

Qualifications

• Strong communication and writing skills required.
• Bi-lingual Spanish a plus.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Articulate the mission, vision and services of Choices and the Mobile Response Team.
• Communicate practice expectations to consumers, partners and funders.
• Respond to crisis referrals in person within 60 minutes.
