Job summary

Choices Coordinated Care Solutions is seeking a Mobile Crisis Peer Responder to join a 40-hour full-time role and respond to emotional and behavioral crises in Indiana counties. The role emphasizes peer support, recovery and community reintegration.

You will work shifts in a fire-house model, respond within 60 minutes, and help individuals regain stability with crisis-focused connections and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• 2 years recovery/abstinence experience and/or mental health exposure preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication; bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
• Familiar with Systems of Care values and community engagement.
• Able to manage priorities and work in team settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 mobile crisis response within set Indiana counties.
• Serve as peer role model; offer peer support and consumer information.
• Coordinate with Crisis Team, leadership, and peers to stabilize clients.
• Document services and maintain data for quality indicators.
• Attend meetings and contribute to performance improvements.
