Choices is seeking a Mobile Crisis Peer Responder in Indiana to provide 24/7 mobile crisis support. The full-time position requires responding to crisis referrals within 60 minutes and offering peer support for up to 30 days after a crisis, operating within a team-driven, recovery-focused framework.

The role emphasizes professional communication, collaboration with crisis leadership, and adherence to program policies, with shifts including evenings and weekends. Hourly pay starts at $19.00.

Qualifications

• 2 years participation in recovery and abstinence from drugs or alcohol and/or mental health; CHW/CRS preferred.
• Strong communication and writing skills; bi-lingual skills (Spanish) a plus.
• Familiarity with Systems of Care values and principles.

Responsabilités

• Articulate mission, vision and services of Choices and Mobile Response Team.
• Communicate practice expectations to consumers, partners and funders.
• Respond to crisis referrals within 60 minutes in person.
• Provide stabilizing connections and peer support for 30 days post-crisis.
• Complete duties to advance the mission and participate in team activities.
