Job summary

Brightli in Springfield, MO seeks a Mobile Crisis Specialist to assist consumers with behavioral health needs who contact the Crisis Line. You will provide phone-based crisis intervention, document contacts, and coordinate with law enforcement and hospitals as needed to guide disposition and access to services.

The role requires a Human Services degree (Master’s preferred) and relevant certifications. You will participate in ongoing trainings, supervision, and team development within a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in the Human services field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Prefer LMSW, LCSW, PLPC, LPC.
• CPR/First aid and CPI certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone intervention and document all contacts.
• Consult with area law enforcement and/or hospital emergency rooms and advise regarding disposition of clients.
• Participate in staff development activities of the system.
• Provide crisis intervention services and participate in emergency services to provide rapid aid in emotional crises.
• Attend scheduled calls, webinars, trainings, and supervision.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Director of Crisis Services or designee.
