Job summary

Brightli in Springfield, MO is seeking a Stabilization Intervention Specialist to provide on-site crisis intervention for youth experiencing behavioral health emergencies. You will work under licensed clinicians to deliver brief interventions, assist with safety planning, and support families during crisis.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Psychology and 1–3 years direct care experience; QMHP eligibility per Missouri guidelines is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field meeting QMHP requirements in Missouri.
• 1–3 years of direct care experience required.
• Experience with children/adolescents preferred.
• Experience with multidisciplinary, team-based care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site crisis intervention and stabilization for youth with behavioral health emergencies.
• Deliver brief, skill-based interventions to promote emotional regulation and coping.
• Engage youth and caregivers in safety planning and recovery-focused services.
• Support development and implementation of individualized crisis stabilization and safety plans under clinical supervision.
• Monitor behavioral changes and communicate observations to the clinical team.
• Coordinate with families to provide education and ongoing crisis resources.
• Assist with discharge planning and aftercare coordination.
