Job summary

Elwyn is seeking an Intake Specialist to manage day-to-day Mobile Crisis intake, perform initial assessments, and triage crisis calls. The role includes gathering necessary information to dispatch mobile crisis teams on first shift and maintaining external stakeholder referrals with accuracy.

You will work in a fast-paced setting requiring strong teamwork, CPR/crisis intervention skills, and proficient use of EHR and MS Office. A valid driver’s license and state driving history are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human service field required; Master's preferred.
• Must have CPR and crisis intervention training.
• Experience in mental health services with adults/children is required.
• Strong data collection and documentation skills with EHR.

Responsibilities

• Answer crisis line calls, triage, collect admission info and create EHR admissions.
• Dispatch mobile crisis teams and coordinate with first shift operations.
• Collect demographic data for accurate reporting and follow-up with referrals.
• Assist with referrals to other services and secure intake appointments.
• Advocate for clients with external agencies and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing training as directed.
