Zusammenfassung

Elwyn is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Mobile Crisis Team to provide crisis response, medical assessment, and linkage to crisis centers and EDs. The RN will support LPNs, coordinate with hospitals, and ensure accurate charting in the EHR.

The role involves on-call crisis intervention, CPR/first aid, and collaboration with community resources. A PA RN license and psychiatric/medical experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• RN license in PA or equivalent recognized by state board.
• 2 years of psychiatric or chemical dependency nursing experience.
• 1 year medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Supervisor experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Take crisis calls and assess safety and imminent danger; coordinate emergency services as needed.
• Dispatch to crisis scenes within the greater Philadelphia area and perform nursing assessments.
• Document encounters and hospital referrals to ensure continuity of care.
• Coordinate with community agencies and families for continuity of care.
• Provide on-call crisis intervention and back-up for staff during off-hours.
• Administer medications per agency protocols (e.g. Narcan, EpiPen) at crisis scenes.
