Job summary

Behavioral Health Network, Inc (BHN) is seeking a Family Partner to join its Mobile Crisis Intervention team. The role supports parents and caregivers during crises, leveraging lived experience to foster trust and engagement.

The position emphasizes collaboration with clinicians, cultural responsiveness, and effective referrals to services. Applicants should have a human-services degree at the Bachelor's level (or relevant equivalents) and experience navigating child- and family-serving systems;

Qualifications

• Requires personal experience as a parent or primary caregiver of a child/youth with significant social, emotional, behavioral, or mental health needs.
• Experience navigating child- and family-serving systems and helping families access services.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support to parents and caregivers during behavioral health crises, using lived caregiver experience to build trust.
• Collaborate with MCI clinicians during crisis response to help families participate in assessment and stabilization planning.
• Offer calm, culturally responsive support while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Help families identify strengths and coping strategies to increase safety and stabilization.
