Zusammenfassung

Integrated Family Services, PLLC is seeking a Family Support Partner for the MORES program to provide mobile crisis interventions and family-centered support for youths aged 3–21 with emotional or behavioral challenges.

You will engage families, coordinate with an enhanced mobile crisis team, and help develop Family Care Plans. A parent/caregiver background, certification toward Family Peer Specialist, and a strong commitment to recovery and resiliency are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Must be a parent/caregiver of a child who has received services.
• Nationally certified or working toward National Certification as a Certified Family Peer Specialist.
• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field and one year of relevant experience; or an associate’s degree and two years; or a high school diploma and four years with children/adolescents.
• Complete the Mobile Crisis and MORES Training Curriculum within 90 days of employment.
• No criminal convictions of child abuse or violent crimes; ability to pass background and motor vehicle checks; valid driver’s license.

Aufgaben

• Engagement of youth and family/caregiver.
• Negotiating with clients, family/caregivers, and service providers.
• Assisting families in de-escalation and educational skill introduction.
• Assessments with MORES team: strengths, triggers, communication, contexts, patterns of behavior.
• Safety planning, crisis and transition planning, and monitoring.
• Identify and develop services within the established system and natural supports.
• Motivational interviewing and family care planning with MORES team.
• Complete NC CAT training and certification after hiring.
• Report and document MORES activities and evaluations.
• Develop resources for youth and families; maintain confidentiality; work with diverse populations.
