Job summary

Riverside Community Care is seeking a Family Partner for the Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) program in Milford, MA. The role supports families during behavioral health crises and works with MCI clinicians to provide rapid assessment, stabilization, and linkage to community services.

This part-time position emphasizes lived experience, caregiver perspective and collaborative family engagement. The Family Partner brings firsthand experience as a caregiver of a youth with special needs to build

Qualifications

• Must be a parent with lived experience navigating the special education, DCF, DMH, DDS, or mental health service delivery system for your child.

Responsibilities

• Advocacy, encouragement, education and practical support to families served throughout the MCI process
• Co-respond with the MCI Clinician to participate in mobile crisis intervention with youth and their families
• Provide follow-up crisis stabilization services and support families in navigating the behavioral health system
• Identify and access appropriate resources
• Participate in the referral and coordination process
• Collaborate with families to promote engagement and transition to ongoing services and build advocacy skills
