Job summary

MGX Equipment Services, LLC is hiring a Crane Technician in Aiken, SC to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain mobile cranes and boom trucks. The role reports to the Service Manager and offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days, plus a Tool Reimbursement Program up to $1,500 per year.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with at least two years of technician experience, ability to read schematics, and strong communication skills. Overtime and safety compliance are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; minimum two years of experience as Mechanic/Technician.
• Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Excellent communication with customer focus.
• Must purchase full set of hand tools up to 1.5 inches.

Responsibilities

• Operate and perform thorough inspection of cranes to diagnose defects.
• Diagnose, repair and troubleshoot mobile hydraulic and lattice cranes; repair hydraulic and electrical components.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings; interpret operating manuals.
• Test repaired equipment to OEM specs post-service.
• Prepare for jobs by verifying parts and drawings.
• Perform annual inspections and complete reports accurately.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and provide great customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.
