Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Superintendent to oversee daily job-site operations in Tulsa, OK. You will coordinate scheduling, production, procurement of materials, and labor, and supervise direct labor and subcontractors to ensure timely project completion.

You will work with Project Managers and craft resources to align on scope, safety, and quality standards across hospitals and medical facilities. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or construction; 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction processes and blueprints.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to lead diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan procedures based on specifications, start/finish times, and staffing requirements.
• Interact with Project Manager to determine schedule and use look-ahead schedules.
• Direct procurement of tools and materials to meet work schedules.
• Ensure all parties are informed of construction issues and progress; coordinate with subs and clients.
• Move personnel between projects to optimize labor costs and performance.
