Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Superintendent to oversee daily job-site operations, including scheduling, production, and material procurement. You will supervise direct labor and any contracted work to ensure timely project completion at a Data Center site in Utah.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or construction and at least 5 years of Data Center construction experience, with strong knowledge of construction processes and blueprints. Travel to on-site locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction related field and 5+ years of Data Center construction experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Studies specifications to plan procedures for construction based on start/completion times and staffing needs.
• Interacts with the Project Manager to determine the project schedule and look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinates pre-construction meetings with the Project Manager prior to mobilization.
• Directs procurement of tools and materials to meet work schedules.
• Ensures all parties are informed of construction issues and progress with regular meetings.
