McLeod Software is seeking a Manager of Mobile Communications in Birmingham, AL to lead the Core Integration Services Mobile Communications team. You will maximize resource utilization, guide scheduling, and ensure top‑tier customer service across internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in related fields, plus experience in team leadership and McLeod product knowledge. Travel up to 15% and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 5+ years of software, customer service, call centers, transportation or other performance‑based industry including forecasting, scheduling and real‑time operations management, required.
• Experience as a Team lead with McLeod software is highly preferred.
• Working knowledge of software and/or transportation and logistics is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• Experience with 3rd party and/or mobile communication integrations is required.
• Experience with McLeod’s suite of products (LoadMaster, PowerBroker, DocumentPower) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of the Mobile Communications team to maximize scheduling and real‑time utilization of resources.
• Analyze team data and recommend changes to staffing allocations to drive more effective use of resources.
• Interface with internal management teams to coordinate scheduling and team communication on customer projects.
• Ensure the Mobile Communications team delivers exceptional customer service to external and internal customers.
• Develop internal employees’ knowledge and provide personal and professional development plans.
• Develop well‑documented, repeatable processes to increase consistency and customer satisfaction.
• Travel up to 15% and learn internal software and systems.
