Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Research Nurse (Per Diem) in Fort Wayne, Seymour, and Indianapolis, IN. The role requires a registered nurse with clinical trial experience and GCP certification to support multi-site trials and patient visits.

Responsibilities include maintaining trial documentation, coordinating visits, administering medication, and reporting adverse events. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with a minimum of 2 years' post qualification experience.
• Research and clinical trials experience with GCP certification.
• Knowledge of research design and methodology desirable.
• Experience and knowledge of clinical nursing skills such as Venepuncture and ECG preferable.
• Ability to work autonomously with initiative in a team within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Good working knowledge of computer software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as a minimum.

Responsibilities

• Fully conversant with trial protocol, CRFs/eCRF, off-site manual and SOPs for day-to-day trial operations.
• Communicate effectively with project management and site staff to ensure smooth information flow.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data transfer while ensuring confidentiality and GCP compliance.
• Attend Site Initiation Visits and other multidisciplinary, project management, and client-facing meetings.
• Coordinate and complete subject visits on- and off-site, following protocol and SOPs.
• Administer trial medication and manage storage, transfer and accountability per SOPs.
• Process, package and dispatch samples, liaising with courier companies as required.
• Identify potentially eligible patients and assist with recruitment and patient support for trials.
• Ensure reporting of adverse events and SUSARs to the site team and RNPM.
• Report suspected misconduct or fraud per Illingworth policies.
