Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Research Nurse (Per Diem) in Ogden, UT. The role supports clinical trials across therapeutic areas, following SOPs and ICH-GCP guidelines.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to manage visits, data, and specimen handling. Ideal candidates are registered nurses with at least 2 years post-qualification experience, familiar with venepuncture and ECG, and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with at least 2 years post-qualification experience.
• GCP certification preferred.
• Knowledge of research design and methodology desirable.
• Venepuncture and ECG experience preferable.
• Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Fully conversant with the trial protocol, CRFs/eCRF, off-site manual (if applicable) and timelines to run the trial.
• Communicate effectively with RN project manager, site staff and PI to ensure smooth information flow.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data transfer per SOPs, ensuring confidentiality and GCP compliance.
• Attend Site Initiation Visits and other required meetings with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Coordinate and complete trial visits on- and off-site, ensuring procedures follow the protocol.
• Administer trial medication per protocol and manage storage/transfer of meds per SOPs.
• Process, package and dispatch samples with courier coordination.
• Assist in identifying potentially eligible patients and support recruitment.
• Report adverse events and SUSARs to site team and RNPM with follow-up as needed.
• Report misconduct or fraud as required.
