Job summary

Illingworth Research Group is seeking a Research Nurse (Per Diem) for Fort Wayne, IN. The nurse will work closely with the RN team, PI, and site staff to support trial logistics, data collection, and patient care in a multidisciplinary setting.

The ideal candidate holds a registered nurse license with at least 2 years post-qualification experience and a GCP certification, with strong documentation and communication skills to ensure protocol adherence.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience.
• GCP certification is required or desirable.
• Experience in clinical trials and research design is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with trial protocol, CRFs/eCRF, SOPs and timelines for day-to-day trial operations.
• Coordinate with RN team and PI to ensure efficient information flow.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data transfer while protecting subject confidentiality.
• Attend Site Initiation Visits and other necessary meetings with multidisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate patient visits on- and off-site and ensure procedures follow protocol.
• Administer trial medication and manage storage and accountability per SOPs.
• Process, package, and dispatch samples as required.
• Identify potentially eligible patients and support recruitment for trials.
• Report adverse events (AEs) and SAEs and coordinate follow-up.
• Report any misconduct or fraud as appropriate.
