Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Research Nurse (Per Diem) to support clinical trials in the Greater Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA area. You will work closely with RN managers, site staff and investigators to conduct visits, collect data per protocol, and ensure patient safety.

Ideal candidates are RNs with 2+ years post-qualification experience, GCP certification, and strong communication and organizational skills to operate autonomously in a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with at least 2 years post-qualification experience.
• GCP certification and clinical trials experience.
• Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Fully conversant with the trial protocol, CRFs/eCRF, off-site manual (if applicable), supporting documents, procedures, and timelines to enable day to day running of the trial including all relevant SOPs.
• Communicate effectively with the RN project manager, site staff and PI to ensure smooth information flow.
• Maintain accurate documentation including electronic data transfer per SOPs, ensuring subject confidentiality and adherence to GCP and data protection requirements.
• Attend Site Initiation Visits (SIV) and other meetings as required.
• Coordinate patient visits on- and off-site and ensure procedures and assessments follow the protocol and SOPs.
• Administer trial medication per protocol and manage storage, transfer and accountability.
• Package and dispatch samples liaising with courier companies per project requirements.
• Assist in identifying eligible patients and support recruitment for trials.
• Report adverse events and SUSARs to the site team and RNPM, with follow-up as needed.
