Job summary

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Mobile Building Engineer I to maintain and troubleshoot building systems across multiple portfolio properties. You will perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical tasks, conduct inspections, and respond to tenant service requests to ensure reliable operations and tenant satisfaction.

The role requires 2–3 years of relevant experience, valid driver’s license, and knowledge of safety regulations.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of job-related experience or commensurate certification.
• Valid state driver’s license required; engineering/trade licenses per local requirements.
• CFC Certification preferred.
• Developing advanced HVAC troubleshooting and BAS experience across multiple properties.
• Proficient with MS Office Outlook and work order apps.
• Must be able to stand, walk, climb ladders, lift up to 50 pounds.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks across multiple properties including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Conduct property inspections (lighting, roof, parking lot).
• Address unscheduled maintenance calls and tenant comfort requests.
• Maintain inspection records and report abnormalities.
• Monitor service contractors for outsourced repairs.
• Travel between sites using company vehicles for repairs.
• Mentor junior technicians and collaborate with engineers.
• Follow OSHA and NFPA safety protocols and participate in safety audits.
• Participate in on-call rotations to respond to emergencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
