Job summary

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Mobile Building Engineer II to provide comprehensive maintenance and operational services across multiple properties, with an emphasis on troubleshooting and ensuring efficient building operations.

The role requires hands-on work with HVAC, BAS, and electrical systems, on-site coordination with managers and contractors, on-call emergency coverage, and mentoring of junior technicians to improve team performance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of job-related experience or commensurate certification/trade experience.
• Valid state driver's license required. engineering and trade licenses required per local/state/national requirements.
• CFC Certification preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC, BAS, and electrical systems; ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical systems.
• Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook and laptop/phone applications for work order systems.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds; physically demanding tasks.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain complex systems across multiple properties, including HVAC, lighting, and plumbing.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance; maintain records of inspections and work orders.
• Perform inspections to ensure compliance and report issues; coordinate contractor activities.
• Enforce safety standards; maintain safety logs for each building.
• Participate in on-call rotations to respond to emergencies across properties.
• Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior mobile technicians; assist with training initiatives.
• Collaborate with property managers and engineers on-site to resolve tenant service requests; work with vendors.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of HVAC, BAS, and electrical systems; diagnose and repair complex systems.
