Job summary

Lincoln Property Company seeks a Mobile Engineer to support building plant and equipment across portfolio properties, driving energy efficiency and cost-effective engineering services. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, system troubleshooting, and coordination with tenants and managers.

The role requires compliance with EPA/OSHA/ASHRAE guidelines, site inspections, and daily travel between properties. Strong mechanical aptitude and English literacy are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Training and certification in HVAC or operating engineer technologies and/or job related training and experience.
• 2 years of field experience or equivalent technical training.
• CFC training and certification or ability to obtain certification for the type of refrigerant serviced.
• Continuing education in field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently with routine supervision.
• Basic computer skills for Building Automation Systems.
• Familiarity with OSHA, NEC and NFC codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Comply with EPA, OSHA & ASHRAE rules, requirements, procedures and safety guidelines.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire control and BMS systems; conduct monthly inspections.
• Conduct site inspections to include roof, mechanical and electrical rooms.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and electrical tasks.
• Communicate effectively with facility managers, tenants, vendors, employees, and visitors.
• Provide recommendations on equipment upgrades and facility improvements.
• Daily local travel between assigned properties.
• Maintain a neat, clean professional appearance and manage tools inventory.
• Interact with client/tenants in a professional manner.
• Assist in coordinating construction projects and disaster recovery efforts.
• Must be able to read/write English for manuals and instructions.
• Comfortable using mobile devices to access work order systems and emails.
