Job summary

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Building Engineer I in Fort Worth, TX to maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to tenant requests, and support senior engineers in ensuring safe, reliable operations.

The role requires 2–3 years of related experience, relevant licenses, and a willingness to work on-call rotations. The work involves standing, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds; OSHA/NEC/NFPA guidelines apply.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of related building engineering experience.
• Licenses as required by local, state, or national requirements.
• CFC Certification preferred.
• Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems; BAS operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems.
• Address service requests, including tenant concerns and lighting/plumbing issues.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and escalate as needed.
• Replace light fixtures, filters, and other components as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and equipment performance.
• Identify deficiencies during property inspections and assist with preventive maintenance.
