Job summary

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Mobile Building Engineer II to provide maintenance and operational services across multiple properties, focusing on HVAC, BAS, and electrical systems to ensure reliable building performance. This role oversees preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinates contractors, mentors junior technicians, and partners with property managers to resolve tenant requests.

On-call rotations and strict safety practices are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related experience or commensurate trade certification.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Engineering/trade licenses required by local/state/national rules.
• CFC certification preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC, BAS and electrical systems with ability to diagnose and repair complex equipment.
• Basic skills with MS Office Outlook and laptop/phone apps for work orders, email and training platforms.
• Must be able to stand, walk, climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain complex systems across multiple properties, including HVAC, lighting and plumbing.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance; keep records of inspections and work orders for each site.
• Perform inspections; coordinate contractor activities and report issues across sites.
• Enforce safety standards; maintain safety logs for each building.
• Participate in on-call rotations to respond to emergencies.
• Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior mobile technicians; assist with training initiatives.
• Collaborate with property managers and engineers on-site to resolve tenant service requests; work with vendors and contractors to complete repairs.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of HVAC, BAS and electrical systems with the ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
