Job summary

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Mobile Building Engineer II to provide maintenance and operational services across multiple properties, focusing on troubleshooting and efficient building operations.

The role requires hands-on experience with HVAC, BAS, and electrical systems, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinating contractors, and ensuring safety compliance across sites. Travel between properties is regular, and mentorship of junior technicians is expected.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of job-related experience or commensurate certification/trade experience.
• Valid state driver's license required. Engineering and trade licenses required per local, state, or national requirements.
• CFC Certification preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC, BAS, and electrical systems; ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical systems.
• Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook and laptop/phone applications for work order systems, email, and training platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain complex systems across multiple properties, including HVAC, lighting, and plumbing.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across properties; maintain records of inspections and work orders for each site.
• Perform inspections to ensure compliance and optimal performance; coordinate contractor activities and report issues.
• Enforce safety standards; maintain safety logs.
• On-call rotations to respond to emergencies across properties.
• Mentor junior mobile technicians and assist with training initiatives.
• Collaborate with property managers and engineers on-site to resolve tenant service requests; work with vendors and contractors to complete repairs.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of HVAC, BAS, and electrical systems; diagnose and repair complex mechanical systems.
