Job summary

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Building Engineer I in Texas to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, under the guidance of senior engineers. This in-office role requires performing routine maintenance, responding to tenant requests, coordinating with contractors, and upholding safety standards per OSHA and NFPA guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of job-related experience or commensurate certification/trade experience.
• Engineering/ trade licenses required per local, state, or national requirements.
• CFC Certification preferred.
• Developing familiarity with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems; BAS operation and troubleshooting.
• Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook and work-order platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems.
• Address service requests, including HVAC, plumbing, and lighting issues.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and escalate when needed.
• Replace light fixtures, filters, and other components as required.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and equipment performance.
• Coordinate with contractors and assist with preventive maintenance tasks.
