Job summary

The Building Engineer I at Lincoln Property Company maintains and troubleshoots HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, performing routine maintenance and responding to tenant requests to ensure safe, reliable operations.

You will follow safety protocols, document inspections, support on-call emergencies, and coordinate with senior engineers and vendors while upholding company standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of related experience or commensurate trades experience.
• Engineering or trade licenses required per local, state, or national requirements.
• CFC Certification preferred.
• Developing familiarity with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems; familiarity with BAS operation.
• Basic skills with Microsoft Office and work order systems.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems.
• Address service requests, including plumbing issues and lighting repairs.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and escalate issues as needed.
• Replace light fixtures, filters, and other components as required.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and equipment performance.
• Conduct property inspections to identify deficiencies and complete preventive maintenance tasks.
