Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Building Engineer I in Arlington, VA to maintain and troubleshoot building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to tenant requests, and work under the guidance of senior engineers.

The role is 100% in-office with on-call rotations and safety protocols. A minimum of 2–3 years of related experience is expected, along with licenses and BAS familiarity.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of related experience or commensurate certification/trade experience.
• Engineering and trade licenses required by local, state, or national requirements.
• CFC certification preferred.
• Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems; BAS operation and troubleshooting.
• Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook and work order systems.

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems.
• Address service requests, including hot/cold calls, plumbing issues, and lighting repairs.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and escalate as needed.
• Replace light fixtures, filters, and other components as required.
• Maintain records of inspections and equipment performance.
• Help with property inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
