Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mobile Engineer to oversee and maintain HVAC/R, electrical, plumbing and production equipment across facilities in the Kansas City area. The role focuses on energy efficiency, safety, and minimizing downtime while performing preventive maintenance and repairs.

The candidate should bring extensive HVAC/R experience, strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work with CMMS systems. On-call availability and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering with strong HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, production equipment repair and maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial refrigeration and/or supermarket refrigeration.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive and repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical and other installed systems.
• Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC/R systems and associated equipment and electrical distribution.
• Study equipment and methods to be used in daily activities.
• Perform facility inspections and due diligence, reporting conditions affecting client occupancy.
• Submit P-card receipts daily and update work order status in real time.
• Utilize CMMS such as Corrigo for all work performed.
• Possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
• Available for call-in work and other duties as required.
