Job summary

JLL in Kansas City, KS is seeking a Mobile Engineer to operate, maintain and repair facility systems across buildings. The role requires multi-skilled capabilities and hands-on problem solving in mechanical, electrical, HVAC and safety areas.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, inspections, coordinating with contractors, and handling emergencies to ensure client occupancy and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform work using proper PPE.
• Strong Customer Service and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance: Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical and other installed systems, equipment, and other components.
• Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC systems and associated equipment.
• Electrical distribution equipment and plumbing systems maintenance.
• Inspect equipment and adjust readings to ensure proper operation.
• Monitor pricing and quality of outside contractors.
• Record readings and adjust to ensure proper operation of equipment.
• Perform facility inspections and due diligence as needed.
• Review monthly Client Service Request summaries to identify recurrent problems.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist the Facility Management team with emergencies (fire alarms, spills, hazardous conditions) and take action.
