Job summary

Colliers International in Houston seeks a Mobile Building Engineer to maintain mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems, perform preventative maintenance, and respond to client requests with prioritization of work orders to minimize downtime.

Requirements include 3+ years in building maintenance or engineering, CFC certification, HVAC knowledge, a valid driver’s license and clean MVR, plus on-call availability and ability to obtain any required licenses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of building or engineering maintenance experience.
• CFC Certification (or ability to obtain) required.
• Solid knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building mechanical equipment.
• Flexibility to be on-call for after-hours and weekend emergencies.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR.
• Owning any required licenses based on jurisdiction requirements.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills; excellent communication.
• General maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on building systems to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Respond to client requests, prioritize and complete work orders, and follow up to minimize downtime.
• Ensure safety of clients and properties and maintain service quality.
