Job summary

TRIMEDX is seeking a Biomedical Technician II (BMET II) to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify complex biomedical equipment with minimal supervision. The role may serve as a technical advisor to clinicians and staff while helping develop specifications for new equipment and maintaining service records.

This position requires travel up to 90% and a commitment to TRIMEDX core values, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer service across customer sites.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent experience.
• CBET certification is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 3 years' experience with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate and verify performance of complex biomedical equipment with minimal supervision.
• Serve as technical advisor to clinical staff on safe operation of equipment.
• Assist in developing specifications for selecting new clinical equipment.
• Maintain and ensure accuracy of the equipment database, service history, and inventory.
