Job summary

TriMedx, LLC in Lansing, MI is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician II - Channel Services to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify performance of complex biomedical equipment with minimal supervision. The BMET II may serve as technical advisor to medical staff and assist in developing specifications for new equipment.

This field service role requires up to 75% travel, primarily regional, with a company car provided; 25% work from home when not traveling or at client

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience with biomedical equipment in a clinical setting.
• Valid driver’s license required; travel up to 75%.
• Strong computer and analytical skills for system administration and error codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform PA inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections and OVP on biomedical equipment.
• Repair, install and calibrate complex equipment and report status to supervisors.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure proper service delivery.
