Job summary

TriMedx, LLC in the Phoenix, AZ area is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician II - Channel Services to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify performance of complex medical devices with minimal supervision. The BMET II will serve as a technical advisor to clinicians and assist in equipment specifications.

This field service role travels up to 75% to client sites, with a company car provided. Work remote from home when not traveling (about 25%).

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment.
• Valid driver’s license; travel up to 75% may be required.
• 2-year technical degree or equivalent biomedical certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform PA inspections, maintenance, ESI, and OVP on complex biomedical equipment.
• Repair, install, and calibrate biomedical devices.
• Inform supervisors of repair status and customer concerns.
• Coordinate activities of subcontractors and vendors to ensure service quality.
• Maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education.
• Travel to client sites; support special projects as assigned.
• Maintain inventory databases and ensure regulatory compliance.
