Job summary

TriMedx, LLC is seeking a Biomedical Technician III to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify the performance of highly complex biomedical equipment with minimal supervision. The BMET III serves as an advisor to clinical staff on safe operation and contributes to department improvements while mentoring associates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering setting.
• Strong computer skills including system administration, error code interpretation, disk defragmentation, and networking basics.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication abilities.
• Valid driver’s license; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform PA inspections, scheduled maintenance, ESI, and OVP on complex biomedical equipment.
• Repair, install, calibrate high-end devices and report status to supervisors.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and service technicians to ensure service delivery.
• Maintain equipment database, inventory, and service history; ensure compliance.
• Lead special service projects and travel as needed.
