Job summary

Trimedx is seeking a Biomedical Technician II to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify performance of complex biomedical equipment with minimal supervision. The BMET II may serve as technical advisor to medical staff and help develop equipment specifications.

Qualifications

• 2 year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent.
• CBET certification strongly preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment.
• Travel may be required based on customer or business needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform PA inspections, maintenance, ESI, and OVP on complex biomedical equipment.
• Repair, install, and calibrate intricate biomedical equipment.
• Inform supervisors of repairs status and any customer concerns.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and service technicians to ensure proper delivery.
• Maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education.
