Job summary

TriMedx is seeking a Biomedical Technician II to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate and verify complex biomedical equipment with minimal supervision. The BMET II may serve as technical advisor to clinical staff in safe operation and use of equipment.

This role also assists in developing specifications for new clinical equipment and demonstrates TriMedx core values in all interactions. Travel up to 90% to client sites is required.

Qualifications

• 2 year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent; certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment.
• Travel up to 90% may be required; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform PA inspections, maintenance, ESI, and OVP on complex biomedical equipment.
• Repair, install, and calibrate complex biomedical equipment.
• Inform supervisors of repairs status and customer concerns.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and outside technicians.
• Maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education.
