Job summary

ICEE is seeking Service Technicians to support Birmingham, AL operations. You will service ice/beverage equipment including frozen and non-carbonated dispensers, fountain gear, ice makers and juice dispensers, with minimal supervision and weekly Service Center meetings.

Provided with a company vehicle, tools, cell phone, tablet, and gas card, you will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, repair equipment, and document work while keeping customers informed and maintaining inventory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical background.
• Graduate of Technical or Vocational school preferred.
• Valid Real-ID Driver’s License required.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs. or more regularly; occasional lifting over 70 lbs.
• Willing and able to drive more than 40% of the time.
• Must wear steel-toed shoes.

Responsibilities

• Respond to dispatched service calls promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Check syrup levels and clean equipment around machines.
• Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and the company vehicle.
• Document all work performed and close out service orders.
• Communicate clearly with customers and co-workers.
• Execute general warehouse duties including shipping/receiving.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
