Chartiers Center is a private, non-profit organization delivering community-based behavioral health services in the Pittsburgh area. The Mobile Behavioral Health Worker will provide individualized support in clients' homes and communities to foster independence and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree plus 2 years work experience in mental health direct service
• CPS certificate and 1 additional year work experience in mental health direct service
• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years work experience in human services including 1 year in mental health direct service
• Bachelor’s Degree and preferably 1 year work experience in mental health direct service

Responsibilities

• Meet regularly with a caseload of clients in their home or community to teach them needed skills and connect them with supports
• Maintain a weekly schedule with most work time in face-to-face client meetings
• Thoroughly document client meetings reflecting work completed, interventions, and client responses

Job DetailsJob Location: Mt Lebanon Blvd - Pittsburgh, PA 15234Chartiers Center is a private, non-profit corporation funded by state, county, 3rd party insurances and private funds. Services include intake, referral, outpatient therapy, psychiatric assessment, service coordination, substance abuse treatment, training and social rehabilitative services, crisis intervention, partial hospitalization, community outreach, day and recreational services for adults with intellectual disabilities, homeless outreach and housing program.

As a Mobile Behavioral Health Worker with Chartiers Center, you will provide individualized, community-based support to program participants in their homes and throughout the community. You will help individuals develop the skills, confidence, and resources needed to achieve greater independence, improve daily functioning, and work toward their personal recovery goals. Through compassionate support, skill-building, and advocacy, you will play a vital role in helping participants lead fulfilling, productive, and meaningful lives.

Job Duties:

• Meet regularly with a caseload of clients in their home or community to teach them needed skills such as independent living skills, social skills, and job search skills, and help connect them with supports such as needed living resources and social opportunities
• Maintain a weekly schedule where the majority of your work time is spent in face-to-face client meetings
• Thoroughly document client meetings to reflect work completed and interventions delivered, as well as client’s response to service and any client concerns

Minimum Qualifications:
