Job summary

AAA Club Alliance in Columbus, OH is hiring Full Time Roadside Assistance Mobile Battery Technicians to join our Roadside Assistance team. Rain or shine, you’ll assist members with towing, jumpstarts, lockouts, fuel delivery, and battery services from our service vehicle.

We offer a competitive base pay of $22.50 to $23.75 per hour, weekend shifts, overtime, monthly bonuses, PTO, 401(k) with company match, and comprehensive health benefits. Training is provided and uniforms/tools are supplied.

Qualifications

Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license for the state of residence.
Ability to pass physical examination as required by DOT and company policy.
3 years of automotive/mechanical experience or 3 years in sales/customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide tow and recovery services from the service vehicle.
Perform lock-out, fuel delivery, battery jump starts, and tire changes as needed.
Diagnose electrical issues and perform battery services for members.
Communicate clearly with members to ensure safety and satisfaction.
Enter call information, process payments, and complete reports as required.
Inspect vehicles and equipment to ensure safe operation and secure storage.
