Job summary

AAA Club Alliance in Columbus, OH is hiring Full Time Roadside Assistance Mobile Battery Technicians to join our Roadside Assistance team. Rain or shine, we assist members with towing, jumpstarts, lock-outs and tire changes, operating from a service vehicle with safety foremost.

Candidate must be 21+, have a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license. Training is provided, with overtime and monthly bonuses. The role includes weekend shifts and potential shift differentials on 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license for the state of residence.
• Ability to pass a physical examination.
• 3 years of experience in automotive/mechanical environment or 3 years in sales/customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide tow and recovery services using established guidelines.
• Provide lock-out, fuel delivery, battery jump starts and tire change services.
• Mobile Battery Technicians diagnose electrical systems and perform battery warranty services for Members.
• Communicate with members effectively to keep them informed and safe.
• Make sound decisions regarding safe service of vehicles and member needs.
• Enter call information into in-truck technology, process payments, and complete reports.
