Job summary

AAA Lexington seeks full-time Mobile Battery Technicians to join our Roadside Assistance team. You will assist members with battery needs, jump starts, and related services in various weather and traffic conditions from a service vehicle.

We offer a competitive base rate starting at $21.40/hour, 2nd shift with 10% differential, overtime, monthly bonuses, and a strong benefits package including 401(k) with company match and health coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in automotive/mechanical environment preferred.
• 3 years in automotive/mechanical or sales/customer service role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide tow and recovery services following established guidelines.
• Provide lock-out, fuel delivery, battery jump starts and tire changes.
• Sell, install, test, and perform battery warranty services for Members.
• Communicate with members to keep them informed and safe.
• Enter call information into in-truck system and process payments.
• Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections for safe operation.
• Ensure fleet vehicle and equipment are secured when not in use.
• Promote the AAA brand and participate in events as needed.
