Job summary

Automotive Technology Experts (ATE) seeks a mobile field technician to deliver diagnostic, programming, and calibration services at Crash Champion locations. You will travel daily in a company vehicle, perform diagnostics and calibrations, and ensure OEM-compliant documentation and approvals are completed before work proceeds.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and customer service, with ongoing training on ATE and OEM protocols.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years automotive experience servicing and diagnosing a wide range of vehicle systems.
• Strong working knowledge of ADAS and electrical services, including calibrations (levels 1–3), programming, diagnostics, and wire/connector repair.
• Proficient with electrical diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, power probes, and resistors.
• Ability to perform and interpret vehicle health scans using both factory and non-factory tools.
• Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain technical findings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast and accurate ATE service support to internal and external customers.
• Travel daily to assigned service locations in a company-provided vehicle.
• Perform diagnostics, calibrations, programming, scanning, and wire/connector repair.
• Ensure all services—particularly calibrations—are documented per OEM guidelines and approved prior to execution.
• Conduct test drives to verify system functionality and confirm successful repair outcomes.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating promptly and professionally and escalating concerns when needed.
• Stay current on ATE and OEM protocols through required training.
• Complete final billing per MCP guidelines.
